Easter Bunny Hop DAY ONE

Thank you for hopping along with us today....

You should have come from Janet's bog, if not please start from the beginning

I do hope you will come back tomorrow to see 10 new projects from the same people as today.

Comment here to be entered to win the I-top 2.0 Bundle which includes
The I-top 2.0
The 34mm I-top punch
The 34mm head for the I-top
And some additional brads so you can make your own....
Tomorrow you will see what I made with the I-top

I made this using Easter Magic, Cricut Craft Room Exclusive Cartridge.
I cut the bunnies and the sentiment at 2"
I used Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth paper for this.
The mesh at the bottom is something I have had forever and it seemed perfect for this. We all had to make a 3-D element in our project AND a bunny! So the mesh is sticky on one side, but you can pick it up and move it if you don't like it and it will not harm the paper. This was brown but not dark enough so I used the same ink that I did on the edges of my card. It is Momento Rich Cocoa, one of my crafting staples.... What would I do without my little Dew Drop inks?!?!
I also used VersaMagic Jumbo Java and Rose Bud Momento Ink.  I cut the circle freehand and then inked the edges. I also use the Round it all by Zutter to round my corners. I also used Cinnamon Stickles for the 'sun burst' effect around the circle. I used used a little brad to gather the mesh and to keep it attached to the paper. The inside of the card was lined with matching paper AFTER I stuck the brad through it. So no one will see my brad or the mesh from the inside of the card!

Make sure you come back tomorrow to see my next project....
when my Bunny grows up :)

How did I get into Cricut?

I was in grad school, teaching and student teaching. I had a newborn baby and I was up into the early hours of the morning and I had the TV on for background noise and I kept seeing the Cricut infomercials. I has the Sizzix original red die cut machine and the Ellison All star and LOVED the idea of being able to cut images at any size I wanted.

If you would like to be entered to win the Cricut Cartridge Sophie, add your story and link it below, please see this link for the full details.....

Announcement!

Have you ever heard of Cooking With Cricut
and Paper Crafting World????
Well I am officially able to announce my newest venture! I am officially on the Design Team for Paper Crafting World and I will be doing some stuff on the Cooking With Cricut challenges. Just as Paper Crafting World and Cooking With Cricut are sister sites..... My Cricut Craft Room and Erica's Projects are sister sites. I do hope you will visit both of them.... My Cricut Craft Room is updated daily, but until I get the swing of the new machine.... there will be 2-3 postings here a week. I look forward to sharing my new adventures with you all and helping to teach you all how to use SVGs and Digital Stamps with my Silhouette Cameo ONLY. So each site will use its respective machines. My Cricut Craft Room will use ONLY Cricut Cartridges and Cricut Craft Room Exclusives. Erica's Projects will ONLY use SVGs and Digital Stamps.... I might throw in a Cricut cut or two to make the base, be it a card or tag, but I will TRY my best to use only SVGs here!
So each week I will have my entry for the challenges over there and some other SVG fun!
I am also going to allow my design team to show off their skills with SVGs here too. So you might see some fun things going on around here..... This blog will now have a cross-over of Cricut and SVG stuff.
I am the happy owner of a new Silhouette Cameo machine. It has actually inspired me to use my Cricut cartridges in new fun ways. Many new things to come over the next few months!

I am so happy to be a part of the team!

Here is what I made for today.... I have a card challenge over on my challenge blog, here is the sketch and what I did with it....

The colors to use are pastel green, pastel yellow and one other color, I picked blue. My yellow looks more orange form the lighting.... but it is yellow glitter paper so maybe the glitter picked up another color when the camera flashed.

I actually used clear craft paper for the fish bowl. I used Celebrations to cut the squares and rectangles, I used Animal Kingdom for the fish and fish bowl.
I thought this was a cute take on the sketch. The winners are picked at random and you can enter up to 3 cards on the challenge blog.
I used older Imaginisce Its a shore thing paper. I used NEW Prima Bling and LOVE it!!!
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for some more great projects!

If you missed anyone.... be sure to go and comment on all of the stops to win today's mystery cartridge....
